Since 2003, NRMA Insurance has invested over $4.6 million across more than 1,200 projects to help make Australian communities safer. See past success stories.
This year, to celebrate the 10th year of the Community Grants Program, we're offering one-off Grants of up to $10,000 (including GST) to eligible community organisations in the categories of Crime Prevention, Road Safety, Emergency Readiness & Response and Environment.
Applications open 9am (AEDT) on 1 March 2012.

Community Grants Program Categories
NRMA Insurance provides grants for community projects that fall into one of the following four categories:
1. Crime Prevention
Initiatives that improve safety and security in local communities by reducing the opportunity for crime and/or preventing community members from becoming involved in crime. Read more
2. Road Safety
Initiatives that increase awareness of road safety issues and/or encourage behavioural change, with the aim of reducing the likelihood and severity of road incidents. Read more
3. Emergency Readiness and Response
Initiatives that help minimise the impact of natural disasters or hazardous incidents on both individuals and the community as a whole. Read more
4. Environment
Initiatives that directly engage and educate the community through environmental sustainability activities such how to reduce carbon emissions. Read more
